A place I like to go

There are many places I like to go in Sri Lanka. But out of them I go to see Ambuluwawa which I like the most. It is located in Mathale District. Ambuluwawa is a biodivasity complex and Sri Lanka's first multi-religious senctury situated in the central highlands of the country. The Ambuluwawa Trigonometrical station, in Gampola, consists of large winding tower resembling a stylized Buddhist stupa, a Hindu kovil, a Muslim mosque and a Cristian church.

I have visited many places in Sri Lanka. Places like Pidurangala, Sigiriya, Jaffna, Anuradhapura are special. But I have only seen Ambuluwawa in pictures. Just seeing that design is a great creation. There is a key reason behind the cool mountain air. Ambuluwawa is surrounded by other mountains such as Piduruthalagala on the eastern province, Bathalegala on the west, Sri pada to the south, and the Knukles range in the north. Ambuluwawa is the only Sri Lankan Mountain peak surrounded by other mountains adding exquisite beauty to the scenery.

Biodiverrsity at the Ambuluwawa has a more complexed expanision than of the common examples of biodiversity. Ambuluwawa is a rock mountain but it is different trom rock mountains commonly seen in Sri Lanka. It is made of special type of rock known as "Inselberg" and is least subject to erosion caused by natural forces. So I love going there because of things like this. And I"ll be going there someday soon. That is my great hope.๐Ÿ’™
